Food Desert - Affordability of Healthy Food
Is there a specific target range of what constitutes affordable healthy food for the current definition of low-income areas in food deserts? Given that each geographic area has different median incomes and a percentage of income targeted on food would be a factor.

There is not a range. Typically, low-income areas located in and around food deserts have limited access to come big-box grocery and discount stores that carry a variety of foods. Typically you find some low-income communities may have stores that provide foods through ‘mom-and-pop’ convenience store settings, or multi-product and services stores.
