I have a two part question regarding this SBIR topic.

  1. Is there coating currently applied on the internal surface of the pipeline?
  2. Is the technology targeted towards new pipelines or existing assets?

    Good morning,

    1. Pipelines may have internal coatings, but this is uncommon. Most internal pipe surfaces are bare steel.

    2. Technologies may be targeted towards either new or existing pipelines.
