This project is led by NHTSA, and as such the principal application of interest is for drivers of passenger vehicles, however, respondents may propose a system for any driver. Internal and external sensor systems exist for a variety of vehicles; this SBIR seeks to investigate whether such systems (or newly developed or modified systems) are capable of being correlated or combined in a way to estimate driver response to, or awareness of, changes in the driving environment.
