    The proposed topic seeks a low-cost, easy-to-deploy solution that can rapidly and reliably suppress lithium-ion battery fires across all modes of transportation and can be scaled for use by first responders in the field or by shippers. The method used to extinguish battery fires should be effective across a range of battery chemistries.
