Questions on 24-PH3
- Can we get a rough geometry and wall thickness of the pressure cylinder?
- On the environmental conditions of the "continuous monitoring": Will that happen on a pressure cylinder stored stationary somewhere in a warehouse or that should be done on a moving transportation vehicle?
- Following the above question, how do the pressure cylinders mechanically coupled to their storage environment?

1) Wall thickness varies depending on the pressure cylinder. Please refer to the CFR 49 for the cylinder you deem most appropriate to first test your solution.
2) This should be through the life of a pressure vessel. So expect to be used during all phases mentioned.
3) that is varied based on the end user. This topic is not meant to aid DOT in transporting Cylinders but the broader Hazmat community. It will be important for offers to have a basic understanding of how pressure vessels are current requalified. That information can be found in the 49 CFR as mentioned in the solicitation
