An error occurred while saving the comment Lance Decker commentedThank you for your question. Both the Technology Maintenance Council (TMC) which is part of the American Trucking Association (ATA) and SAE International have recommended practices for tire inspections. There are Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) that define items like minimum tread depth and inflation. That said, this project has the potential to influence all of these practices and regulations. It is also important to have a historical view of the tire in this project.
