Positive Regular ADA/Paratransit Client
Happy New Year! Seeking guidance and best practices for when a transit agency learns of a regular paratransit client (with subscription trips) contracting COVID (i.e., testing positive and voluntarily sharing that with us).
Specifically, our team is seeking guidance on whether 1) the transit agency can temporarily refer them to medical services or local health department to mitigate the risk of exposure to other customers and to our operator; 2) the transit agency can require a negative test result before allowing them to resume their regularly-scheduled services?
Requiring a negative test result has become standard practice for other sectors including businesses and schools.
